E-Learning Security Models
نویسنده
چکیده
The article looks into methods and models that are useful when analyzing the risks and vulnerabilities of complex e-learning systems in an emergency management context. Definitions of vulnerability and emergency response capabilities, such as “VLE/PLE attack surface”, are suggested. The article provides insight into some of the issues related to analysis of risks and vulnerabilities of e-learning systems, but more research is needed to address this difficult and comprehensive task.

Maximizing Security Management Performance and Decisions with the MFC Cyber Security Model: e- learning case study
The Mean failure Cost (MFC) is a cascade of linear models that quantify security threats by taking into consideration the system’s stakeholders, security requirements, architectural components and threats. This quantitative cyber security model monetizes system’s security in terms of cost which may be lost due to security failure. The lack of quantitative security models in security decision ma...

Background: Because of approaches to learning in every place and at any time, ubiquitous learning with knowledge of the context and framework, and due to the development of wireless technologies and sensors, the learning process has changed. Mobile learning and ubiquitous learning as models of e-learning that refer to the acquisition of knowledge, attitudes and skills through wireless technolog...
متن کاملOptimization of e-Learning Model Using Fuzzy Genetic Algorithm
E-learning model is examined of three major dimensions. And each dimension has a range of indicators that is effective in optimization and modeling, in many optimization problems in the modeling, target function or constraints may change over time that as a result optimization of these problems can also be changed. If any of these undetermined events be considered in the optimization process, t...
متن کاملThreat Model for User Security in E-learning Systems
This paper suggest a generic threat model for the processes in e-learning systems. After a breaf discussion of the particularities of e-learning systems from the security point of view, the role of threat models in system security is explained. Then a characterization of the attackers is made, together with the assets and entry points identification and threats identification and classification...

متن کاملKey Factors for Defining the Conceptual Framework for Quality Assurance in E-Learning
E-learning has evolved for more than a decade, and universities are gradually embracing e-learning to provide more learning experience for their learners. E-learning is the use of electronic means through which training is received and obtained. E-learning offers a wide range of advantages (time and room mobility, cost-effectiveness, etc.) and also overcomes the limitations of digital learning ...
